Weighing in on wetlands: Environment versus economy

The issue of what to do with Wisconsin wetlands has hit close to home in recent months, after the state Legislature in February voted to exempt a Lambeau Field-area wetland from rules governing the preservation of such areas. Wetlands expert and UW-Green Bay Prof. Emeritus Bud Harris has been keeping a close eye on the issue, and weighed in for a Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism story that ran in Sunday’s (Nov. 20) Green Bay Press-Gazette.
