Four Freedoms project, for which Kaye is adviser, featured in New York Times

The Four Freedoms Park Project, for which our own Harvey J. Kaye is an historical adviser, is receiving some big media attention as of late, including a Wednesday (Sept. 12) story in The New York Times. The park, in New York City, pays homage to Franklin Roosevelt’s famous “Four Freedoms” as outlined in his 1941 State of the Union Address. FDR’s vision of “Freedom of Speech … Freedom of Worship … Freedom from Want … Freedom from Fear” is the focus of Kaye’s current book project, and the Democracy and Justice Studies professor has been interviewed several times about the famous address. See story on the park, including some great images.
