Kraft talks energy, environmental impacts on WPR’s Cardin Show

Prof. Emeritus Michael Kraft was the guest expert Wednesday (June 4) morning on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “The Joy Cardin Show,” weighing in for the weekly “Big Question” segment. The discussion focused on whether the Enbridge Oil pipeline from Superior to the Illinois border should be expanded, given environmentalists’ concerns over possible spills. During the 7 a.m. segment, Kraft, Public and Environmental Affairs, talked about the arguments for and against the plan, as well as discussing the latest on the proposed Badger-Coulee transmission line in Western Wisconsin and the reaction to the Environmental Protection Agency’s suggested carbon limits.
