Kaye might have chance to face the nation, and Schieffer, on CBS

UW-Green Bay Prof. Harvey Kaye of Democracy and Justice Studies shares word he has been approached about appearing on one of the famous Sunday morning political interview shows. He is awaiting confirmation regarding the May 25 edition of “Face the Nation,” hosted by (the great) veteran newsman Bob Schieffer. It’s Memorial Day weekend, and if the gig comes off Kaye expects to talk about (either individually or as a panelist) some of the observations contained in his new Simon & Schuster book The Fight for the Four Freedoms: What Made FDR and the Greatest Generation Truly Great. We’ll have more details later. “Face the Nation” premiered on the CBS network in 1954. It airs in this market at 9:30 a.m. on WFRV-TV.
