Faculty note: Kraft presentation

Prof. Emeritus Michael E. Kraft gave a talk in December at the Gerald R. Ford School at the University of Michigan. Both the full paper and the talk are now available online at the UM website. The paper concerns how information disclosure can be used to deal with natural gas fracturing. The paper draws from his 2011 book Coming Clean: Information Disclosure and Environmental Performance, and applies the lessons of that study to the case of natural gas fracking. There is an abstract on the site as well as the full PDF file for the paper – click here.
