WFRV, Channel 5 Critic-at-Large Warren Gerds on Wednesday (Dec. 4) highlighted two upcoming concerts at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, noting the unique opportunity the venue provides for students at UW-Green Bay. As we told you here recently, the University’s Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band will take the Cofrin Family (main) Hall stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday (Dec. 6), performing classic and contemporary music conducted by Associate Prof. Kevin Collins. Tuesday (Dec. 10), vocals will take center stage, with the UW-Green Bay Chorale, Concert Choir and the Green Bay Choral Artists Performing “Holidays Through the Centuries” at 6:30 p.m. The Tuesday show is free for faculty and staff, but attendees must RSVP with the Chancellor’s office no later than Friday.
