Visitors from Jordan will address Arab culture, misperceptions

“Diwan Biladna: Understanding Arabs and Americans” is the title of a UW-Green Bay Human Mosaic program this Wednesday (Sept. 11) starting shortly after 11 a.m. in the Union’s Alumni Room. Ahmad Kamal Azban and Tony Anqoud — visiting authors and Arabic instructors from Jordan — will discuss misconceptions Americans have about Arabs and vice versa. Book signing and casual discussion will follow their presentation.  “Diwan” is Arabic for family, and “Biladna” means “our country.” For more on the authors, click here.
