Just a friendly reminder that “Egypt at the Crossroads” is the topic for the third and final Global Studies Roundtable of the spring semester, from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday (April 4) in the Vista Room, MAC Hall 301. The informal discussion will be led by Mohamed Abla, an artist and activist from Cairo whose visit is sponsored by the International Visiting Scholars Program. Political scientist Katia Levintova, associate professor of Public and Environmental Affairs, says Abla has first-hand knowledge of the situation in Egypt including the process of writing the new constitution.
