Slideshow: Birr energizes After Thoughts with advice on living well

The fourth season of After Thoughts at UW-Green Bay wrapped up in energetic fashion Tuesday (April 1), when life coach and UW-Green Bay Associate Lecturer Jane Birr presented “Hall of Fame Habits: Bridging the Gap from Frustrated to Fit and Free” before a full house in the Grand Foyer of the Weidner Center. Birr, also an alumna (’85 and ’90), encouraged attendees to explore their passions, set goals and start “living on purpose” by prioritizing their health and making meaningful change. Her presentation also featured alumna Jenni Ulrich, who Log readers may recall from her odds-defying walk across the stage during May 2013 commencement. As we told you here the other day, Ulrich has made great strides (literally and figuratively) thanks to her own grit and her goal-setting work with Birr.
