Library’s 5th floor welcomes Miller Reading Room

A sizeable portion of the Cofrin Library’s 5th floor is being converted from staff and conference-room use to a new “reading space” for students, to be called The Norman and Shirlyn Miller Reading Room. Library Director Paula Ganyard says patron surveys over the years have consistently mentioned the desirability of a quiet reading room. The glass walls are up, new carpet is down and the room is awaiting furniture to be delivered soon. The Miller family provided funding for the project. With her late husband, Norman, Mrs. Miller has been a generous supporter of UW-Green Bay for more than 40 years. An official ribbon cutting with the family will take place later this fall.
