A nice Shorewood deal for employees: Golf & Lunch

Arranged by the campus Wellness Committee and designed to get faculty and staff members out from behind their desks, and out walking and eating a healthy lunch … The Shorewood Golf Course is offering a “Golf & Lunch” deal for employees with a UWGB ID card. With the arrival of the fall golf season, the deal invites you to play three holes (Nos. 1, 2 and 3) and wind up back at the clubhouse for a lunch selection from the extensive menu. They’ll even provide free club rental if needed. All for only $10. “This wellness opportunity… allows you to get out, exercise and enjoy the beautiful views that Shorewood golf course has to offer.”

With luck, season could run through November — Shorewood is a seasonal operation that will remain open through October (possibly into early November), closing for the winter and re-opening in late-March/early-April.
