More AEDs on campus

The University recently purchased additional portable automated external defibrillators (AEDs), bringing the campus total to 32. New locations include spots in MAC Hall, Instructional Services, Studio Arts, Wood Hall, Facilities and the heat/chill plant. The AEDs are designed to be easy to use and have clear, step-by-step audio instructions to guide rescuers. The Office of Public Safety periodically offers CPR/AED training to members of the campus community. AEDs are now located across campus including also the Shorewood Golf Course, Residence Life, the Weidner and Kress centers, and in various areas of the concourse system. See maps of AED locations online. There also is an online introduction to the devices, click here.
