Keep Campus Cupboard and Closet in mind during summer cleaning

The Campus Cupboard and Campus Closet (CK One) have been very busy since they relocated to Rose Hall 140 where they share space with Campus Kitchen. Per Campus Cupboard student org advisor Dana Johnson, from March 31 to June 14, CK One experienced the following:

  • Accessed by consumers from 6:54 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Accessed by 64 unique consumers (since the electronic swipe was installed – – not including members from our two student organizations, faculty advisors, maintenance and/or persons known to deliver donations.
  • Consumers accessed CK One 129 times in total

At this time, when you are doing summer cleaning or trying to figure out what to do with left over rummage sale items, remember CK One. The Campus Cupboard is in need of canned fruit and peanut butter. The Campus Closet is in need of clothing– especially size large (but all sizes welcome, including children) that can be used for interviews and classroom/campus living. The Campus Closet also needs: kitchen items such as pizza pans, baking dishes, hot pads, pans, manual or electric can openers, toasters, silverware, towels, sheets and blankets for twin beds, alarm clocks, small lamps, coffee makers and coffee grinders and anything else that you could spare that helps students to stock their living quarters. So far this summer, clothing, towels and kitchen items have been in need. Please bring your donations to CK One located in Rose Hall 140, use your UWGB ID card to swipe the keypad and place your items in the donation receiving room on the right. Donation receipts are available on the cabinet by the door. Feel free to take a tour while you are there! Questions about the Campus Closet may be directed to Stacie Christian at christis@uwgb.edu. Question about Campus Cupboard may be directed to Dana Johnson at johnsond@uwgb.edu. Thank you to everyone for your continual, wonderful support and donations!
