Attention, music geeks! Dust off those old music medals

In anticipation of many thousands of visitors this Saturday for the WSMA Solo & Ensemble Festival, the UW-Green Bay Phoenix Bookstore and festival director Prof. Kevin Collins invite you to show off your hardware. Dig out those old Solo and Ensemble medals, dig out an old (then) and a new (now) photo of yourself, put them in an envelope with your name on it and take them to the Phoenix Bookstore and the attention of Sue Machuca. They will be proudly displayed in the Phoenix Bookstore showcase for the WSMA State Solo and Ensemble festival, and a little longer, for all to view. If you want to be included in this geekfest, please deliver materials by Thursday (May 1). This is your chance to see your medals (music trophies would be welcome, too) in the kind of showcase you always meant to have installed in your home, but your spouse won’t let you do it.
