UW-Green Bay’s recently revived community Pow Wow event is slated for Saturday, April 13 at the Kress Events Center. This daylong celebration features dancing, grand entries, crafts, vendors, food and more. The theme for this year’s Pow Wow, which is free and open to the public, is “honoring our children,” and kids will be featured and welcomed to participate in special dances during the afternoon. The Pow Wow runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with grand entries at 1 and 7 p.m. A free feast will be served at the Mauthe Center from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome for this cultural and community celebration!
