Aldrete and Linothorax crew will do book signing Saturday

Award-winning historian Gregory S. Aldrete of the Humanistic Studies faculty will be the featured attraction at 2 p.m. this Saturday (March 8) at the Barnes and Noble on Oneida Street in Ashwaubenon. Aldrete will lead a short presentation and book signing for his recent publication, Reconstructing Ancient Linen Body Armor: Unraveling the Linothorax Mystery. All three authors of the book including UW-Green Bay graduate Scott Bartell will be present, along with samples of the armor. (No word on whether axes and arrows will be part of any demonstration. Probably not.) Here’s the event listing on the book store’s calendar: http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/4673862.
