Campus Kitchen fundraiser to take place Saturday, Feb. 16 through Friday, Feb. 22

Be a part of the solution to end hunger and food waste in Green Bay. UW-Green Bay’s Campus Kitchen is asking for a one-time donation to continue providing essential services to the community. Change jars will be made available in offices on campus where you can donate your pocket change. Donations can also be made through the fundraising website.

The Campus Kitchens Project is a national organization that empowers student volunteers to fight hunger in their community. On 65 university and high school campuses across the country, students transform unused food from dining halls, grocery stores, restaurants and farmers’ markets into meals that are delivered to local agencies serving those in need. Each Campus Kitchen goes beyond meals by using food as a tool to promote poverty solutions, implement garden initiatives, participate in nutrition education and convene food policy events.
