Lanter’s language lab seeks talkative toddlers

It’s that time of year — UW-Green Bay’s Language Learning Lab and Associate Prof. Jennifer Lanter are looking for local parents interested in having their kiddos (ages 2-5 years) participate in a major study of toddlers’ skills and language development. Lanter is asking alumni, University employees and returning adult students with young children to consider volunteering for a visit. Participation is easy, with only a single 30- to 45-minute session in which the parent gently guides his or her child through a few simple play exercises. Lanter and/or one of her student research assistants will observe. Interested? Email Lanter at lanterj@uwgb.edu or sign up at the website, www.uwgb.edu/learnlab/.
