Go Red for Women and heart health

UW-Green Bay will observe National Wear Red Day this Thursday (Jan. 31). Support the fight against heart disease in women by wearing red that day. Stop by the “Go Red” display in the University Union, and pick up information on women and heart disease and get your Red Dress lapel pin. Watch for these “Go Red” activities during the week of Jan. 28 to Feb. 1:

• Wednesday (Jan. 30) — Heart Healthy cooking demonstration by Aviand’s, noon to 1 p.m., Leona Cloud Commons
• Thursday (Jan. 31) — UW-Green Bay’s National Wear Red Day observance (Please note: That’s a day earlier than some national observances, in order to maximize opportunities for campus participation)
• Thursday (Jan. 31) —Go Red Poker Walk – walk the concourse “tunnels” and compete for great prizes!  Any time between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
