Reminder: Registrations are now being accepted and encouraged for the 17th Annual Faculty Development Conference to be held Jan. 24, 2013 at the University Union. The theme this year is “Teaching and Learning in the Digital Age.” Keynote speaker Gardner Campbell, Ph.D., is director of Professional Development and Innovative Initiatives at Virginia Tech, where he also serves as an associate professor of English. Prior to his appointment at Virginia Tech, he was founding director of the Academy for Teaching and Learning at Baylor University, and an associate professor of literature, media, and learning in the Honors College. Campbell has engaged issues of teaching and learning technologies for nearly two decades, presenting at numerous national and international conferences, and publishing on personal cyber infrastructures, faculty development, podcasting, and information technologies in higher education. “You won’t want to miss this conference.
