‘Social Capital’ is Warner’s topic for this week’s Philosophers’ Café

Social capital is the network of relationships we build by being out and involved in our communities. Recent research suggests that cumulative social capital is in decline, particularly in neighborhoods that need it the most. If we have in fact lost it, how do we get it back?  Assistant Prof. Lora Warner of Public and Environmental Affairs leads the discussion this Thursday (Jan. 9) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harmony Café, 1660 W Mason St. Philosophers’ Café is a monthly get-together organized as a joint project of the philosophy programs at UW-Green Bay and St. Norbert College. https://www.uwgb.edu/philosophers-cafe/
