Inclusive Excellence sets Feb. 26 program on autism, Asperger’s

Michael John Carly, founder and first executive director of GRASP — the largest organization made up of adults on the autism spectrum — will lecture and answer questions on the topic of the autism spectrum and Asperger’s syndrome in an appearance at UW-Green Bay on Friday, Feb. 26. Carly’s program, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the University Theatre in Theatre Hall, will address the topic from the viewpoint of educational institutions and educators. Open to UWGB faculty, staff, students and alumni in addition to the general public, the program will be the first of several 2016 Inclusive Excellence Certificate Program career development events. Funding is provided by Inclusive Excellence, the Dean of Students, and Enrollment Services, so there is no cost to attendees.
