Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) led a popular interactive workshop Monday (March 19, 2018), teaching the history of the Hijab — the head, face, or body covering worn by some Muslim women. The presentation provided the history about wearing the Hijab and the role it plays in Muslim faith. Participants were able to try on a Hijab for themselves.
