05/08/2018 - UWGB alumnus to run for Isabella County’s open prosecutor seat

Robert Holmes ’87 (Political Science) is among four people that have filed to run for Isabella County’s open prosecutor seat. If elected, he would seek advanced training and education for staff and attorneys to better meet the responsibility of protecting Isabella County citizens.

05/08/2018 - Peshtigo Chamber names alumna Rhonda Madsen Educator of the Year

UW-Green Bay alumna, Rhonda Madsen ’91 (Human Development), was named Educator of the Year for the Peshtigo Chamber 2018 Richard and Patricia Roland Persons of the Year Awards. Madsen is a third-grade teacher at Peshtigo Elementary Learning Center. The Peshtigo Times has more.

UW-Green Bay has been granted status by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a “Non-Land Grant College of Agriculture Certification.” This designation provides the University faculty and staff access to grants and opportunities associated with non-open calls and provides competitive advantage when submitting to select programs.
