10/11/2017 - Phoenix fan, wife of ‘Zeke’ Backes, passes

UW-Green Bay was notified that Mary Lou Backes passed away recently. Visitation and funeral services are Friday. Mary Lou is the wife of Cyril (Zeke) Backes, who had a lengthy career with UW-Green Bay as its business manager. They were enthusiastic supporters of UW-Green Bay, and especially Phoenix athletics.
