Renowned jazz trumpeter Jeff Jarvis will be the headline performer and lecturer for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Jazz Fest XXXX. Jazz Fest, which includes a full day of performances and music education on campus, is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 30. A public concert begins at 4 p.m. in the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, 2420 Nicolet Drive.
The beneficiaries are the clients of Paul’s Pantry, a food bank in Green Bay. The winners? All the generous employees who contributed 23 boxes of food (403 items) to the drive… and also the lucky ticketholders in the accompanying raffle — oops, we mean “Laffle” — organized by the UW-Green Bay Registrar’s Office.
